Ans-1)
Given chemical equation,
Cl2 (g) + H2O (l) -----------> HCl (aq.) + ClOH (aq.)
O.S. of Cl in various species involved in above chemical equation are,
i) Cl2. Molecular state hence O.S. of Cl is 0 (Zero)
ii) HCl: Cl is more electronegative than H and hence in HCl O.S. of Cl is -1.
iii) HOCl or HClO:
O.S. of H is +1 in all it's acids and oxyacids. O.S. of O is -2 in oxyacids. Charge on HClO is 0. Using this we can calculate O.S. of Cl as,
O.S. of H + O.S. of Cl + O.S. of O = 0
(+1) + O.S. of Cl + (-2) = 0
O.S. of Cl - 1 = 0
O.S. of Cl = 0 +1
O.S. of Cl = +1
Hence in HOCl O.S. of Cl is +1.
It's clear that,
Cl is reduced as it goes from Cl2 (0 O.S.) to HCl (-1 O.S.). Here Cl2 act self oxidant.
And
Cl is oxidized as it goes from Cl2 (0 O.S.) to HClO i.e. Cl-OH (+1 O.S.). Here Cl2 act as self reductant.
There in given chemical transformation,
Cl2 is both the oxidizing agent and the reducing agent. (Option-C).

Ans-1b)
Ag i.e. silver is most unreactive metal among the given and will not displace H+ from Water H-OH or acid H-Cl.
Metals like Ag, Au, Pt, are termed as Coinage metals.
Answer option-a).

Most reactive element displace less reactive metal.
Reactivity order must be
Cl > Br > I.
it meas F2 displaces Cl/Br/I from KCl/KBr/KI respectively.
Cl2 displace Br/I from KBr/KI. But Cl cant displace F fro KF.
Br2 displaces I from KI or NaI. But Br2 cannot dislace F/Cl from KF/KCl.
I2 cannot displace F/Cl/Br from respective salts KF/KCl/KBr.
Hence
Non-spontaneous reaction is 2KCl + I2 (s) ----------> 2KI (aq.) + Cl2 (g)
Answer option-b)
