No, it cannot regulate as mammalian glycolytic pathway. That is because of two reasons, the formation of Fructose 1,6-bisphosphate does not occur in the reaction. In mammalian glycolytic pathway it regulated through phophofructokinase and Fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase. On the other hand, there is no phoshpoenol pyruvate formed.
