By this experiment we can say that the anterior endoderm is required for the formation of cardiogenic mesoderm. Crescent is frizzled related protein which inhibit the expression of Wnt signals is expressed in anterior endoderm during gastrulation. Inhibition of Wnt signalling promotes the cardiogenic mesoderm development.
