Question
For Trans-Chalcone (614-47-1) 13C NMR , labels for carbon must be assigned beginning with a from upfield to downfield (i.e., a is smallest ppm) and the carbon types determined.
I've already given labels and chemical shifts on the structure and table (I think they are correct but at the b, c, d, and e labels, they seem really close together and I'm not sure if I can just count all of them under one label). The carbon types are also unknown. Thanks for the help and explanation.

What you have assigned is correct, and no need to count a, b,c,d and e as seprate label, since each giving seprate signal
And all carbons are sp2 hybridized since all carbon having double bond
