1. It is mentioned that it is a kind of Fisher Esterification reaction. So in such type of reaction, the rate of the reaction will increase by adding the catalyst Lewis acid in the reaction because as the amount of the catalyst will increase, it will release more H+ ions which will combine with more acetic acid molecules and make them as a suitable intermediate for reaction with alcohol. Due to this, no of an acetic molecule will sharply reduce in solution which will increase the rate of the reaction. In addition to this, if the temperature of the reaction will increase, it results in the fast availability of hydrogen ion. Because of increase in temperature, the dissociation rate of the catalyst will enhance which will result inform of increase in rate.
