Explanation / Answer

The titration curve is a plot of pH change during course of titration vs the volume of titration added. The titration curve of acid base reaction is a typical S shaped curve where the pH shows sharp increase at the equivalence point. Hence, to plot the titration curve the accurate pH value is not required but the trend of change in pH is important. This leads to the conclusion that it doesn't matter how close the pH meter value is to the pH value of buffer. i. e. It would not significantly affect the final answer.
