Explanation / Answer

Calculated the mole of CO2 using the pv=nRT and we got the mole to be 0.00376mol
using that I calculated the mass of CO2 to be 0.166g which is also equal to the mass of CO

mass of Fe=0.166-0.158g=0.0075g

Moles of CO will be equal to moles of CO2 but not the masses.
Using simple atomic masses CO= 28g/mol and CO2 = 44g/mol
Using these values , 0.00376 mol of CO will weigh 0.00376 x 28 = 0.10528g CO

So mass of Fe = 0.158 - 0.10528 = 0.0527g

Element/group Fe CO
Mass (g) 0.0527 0.10528
Moles 0.0527/56 0.10528/28
Ratio 9.412 x 10-4 0.00376
Divide by smallest 1 3.99
1 4
Fe(CO)4

So answer is Fe(CO)4
