Lets say the height of peak A = 1
and
height of peak B = 0.7
Also,
base of peak A = 3
and,
base of peak B = 2.5
then,
Area of peak A = 3 x 1/2 = 1.500
Area of peak B = 0.7 x 2.5/2 = 0.583
Total area = 2.083
Area %A = 1.5 x 100/2.083 = 72.01%
Area% B = 0.583 x 100/2.083 = 27.99%
