1)in our livelihood, the word maroon is derived from the Spanish word which means wild. it was usually referred to runaways and castaways and it is derived from the old Spanish. when blacks and Americans banded together independently are called as maroons. on the Carribean islands, they form bands and some camps. maroon people faced more odds to survive from colonists and to obtain food for the living and reproduce and increase their number. as the planters took more land from maroons for crops the maroons began to lose their land on islands. on some of the larger islands maroons began to form communities and began for hunting and growing crops.
2)gentrification is described as the renovation of urban neighborhoods which means more affluent residents. this is a common topic in politics and urban planning. conversations surrounding gentrification have evolved as many social scientific communities have questioned in negative connations associated with gentrification. one example of gentrification is more displacement for lower income families in gentrifying neighborhoods
3)sub-Saharan is geographically the area of the continent of Africa that lies in the south of the Sahara. according to the united nation, it consists of all African countries that are located in the south of Sahara. it contrats with north america whose territories are part of the arab states within the arab world. somalia, djibouti, are geographically in sub saharan africa but are likewise states of arab and arab world.

5)the countries of southeast asia are mynmar, thailand, vietnam, and west malaysia. between 1960 and 2005 the economies of southeast asia are grew at an average of almost six percent per year. at the end of the period it was faster in africa. in the 1960s southeast asians were on much poorer than africans. by 2005 they were almost two and half times richer. in southeast asia the whole 45 year period it was the turn of the century caused by asian financial crisis.
