Student's post:
Economic and military security ensure the functioning and safety of our nation. Environmental security ensures the health of our planet. Without environmental security, we are not only risking harm to the planet, but also the health of man. Security protects the present and ensures protection for the future, and that’s what we need to look to, the future of the environment. You really cannot put one security before another, all play an important role in protecting our future whether as a nation or planet. Why would anyone want to live on a fifthly, toxic planet? That is the type of world our future generations will endure unless we do our duty to protect the planet now. Without environmental security, our planet will suffer from many extinctions and even the elimination of man. Therefore, all the work we have done, how far we have come since the beginning, will all be wasted away. So yes, environmental security is just as important as economic and military.
Explanation / Answer
Given the situation of increasing temperature year by year, we can realize what humans had done to the mother earth. Security means a sense of safety to one's country. It's a symbol of patriotism. It's a way to show how powerful we are to the world. Like military security, balanced environmental conditions assure good health and happier life to the citizens. For example, managing water resources and maintaining proper water quality assures a wonderful life to people. Timely rains and agricultural gains will make a nation prosper. This actually avoids a nation to depend on any resources to other nations. This way one country can really avoid an indirect invasion of other countries citing the resource deficit.
