Explanation / Answer

I DO NOT SUPPORT drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. The USA geological survey estimated almost 7.5 to 12 billion barrels of oil underneath the 19- million acre refuge. The exact drilling controversy centers on 1.5 million specific area where vast herds of caribou, polar bears really exist. In my point of view drilling for fuel is dirty, cheap business and harm the nature, ecosystem.

The reasons why I don't support drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife refuge are:

Drilling of oil is not a simple overnight process... This includes emission of harmful gases into air like methane which results in climate change and also have serious effects on wildlife existing there. The impacts caused to lands by constructing gas drilling sites are irreversible and also pollute water and air which decrease the rate of visitors who would come for nature photography, bird and nature lovers. One straight point for this article would be... Is drilling for oil more important business than our lives? Instead of debating about drilling In refuge we must concentrate more on the sources which can produce oil for future use. Except earning huge money there is no other advantage by drilling oil, instead there are even more disadvantages. Even though if drilling is done there will not be any changes in oil prices ( the prices never decrease) There are still even more acres of land available which the oil companies probably have never seen. So kindly save the environment and DO NOT SUPPORT drilling for oil.
