First Assignment: During the upcoming semester, you will be participating in the class Shaping of the Modern World. Each and every one of us to some extent is a product of modernity and modem events. Some of our lives, and the lives of our families, have been dramatically transformed as the result of war, migration, political upheavals, industrialization and urbanization. In our class, there are some who are immigrants, and who certainly live between American culture and that of their former homeland, with food, customs, and languages being different than American mainstream culture. In this case, it might seem on the surface easier to address these questions than someone who has lived in the US for over three generations, for example. However, if one stops and thinks, we will find that all of our lives have been shaped by modernity, modem technologies, and events which have taken place during the last three centuries (not to mention even within the last three decades!). Therefore, I highly encourage you to ponder on this question and not necessarily write about what first comes to mind. In approximately 1200 word (single-spaced) essay, describe how the modern world has shaped you, your family, and your personal surroundings. Try to craft your writing into a coherent narrative, especially since this Narrative will somehow present to the reader why you are what you are, and who you are.Explanation / Answer
In my hometown,I used to be on my own foot which means I would spend my time as I wish going to my fauvorite place,chatting all time etc etc. But due to many factors like urbanization,industrialization,war etc there was a situation that we need to shift from our hometown to other place. Initially the new place was inconvinient as everything was new to us. We could not get into anything so casually as we were in our home town.
The rules and regulations followed in the new country was entirely different from our homeland. Many places in the country were extremely different. The people were different following different communitties. The educational system was fully digitalized and was easy to understand the concepts. The marketing strategies,the government rules and regulations were all stunning and new but was easy to pick them up.
The country was clean and everything was automated. The manual work load was entirely decreased. Perfect timings were followed by office goyers and scientific growth was tremendous. The country was in state of importing and exporting many materials earning more and more profit. Venthough it was new at the begining,the new life thought us many things in our life.
