After reading the chapter, identify how you and/or your organization, workplace, or agency has been affected by addictions.What modalities have been used to deal with them?  How affective were they?  Did you ever have to relieve someone of their duties because of an addiction?  If so, would you make any changes in how you went about it? If you had control over the policies and procedures at your facility or organization would you make some changes in them? If so what and why? What type of help is available in your community at large?  Could there be more and better help?  If so what. How will you ensure access to these health services in urban, suburban, and rural settings?

addiction is the condition in which someone is addict to some particular substance, activity or work. in this condition , people are not aware about it that those activities are problematic and dangerous for other people also with them. when an employee of some organization or agency is addicted to something , its a problematic for that organization. lets take a example , if a man is addicted to alcohol and he comes office after drink than his work will not be proper and his activities and the smell of alcohol will irritate the other employee also.office environment will not be normal . its just an example of the addiction problem in the agency.

if we having a person in office with an addiction than we should do talk with him or her and tell about him/her activities which are irritating and suggest them a good rehabilation centre. behave as a friend with them and try to understand the problem of them.

drugs , tobacco , smoking and alcohol is totally prohibited at the workplace and in a office and also impose the fine if someone breaks this rules. rehabilation center should be opened in every area urban, suburban and rural area also. these peoples need a emotional supportr , so we must help them and support them emotionally.

health services should be easily accessable for all the people and there should be make a seperate health chamber for the addicted people.
