Explanation / Answer

Human population growth has contibuted to global warming. Humans use fossil fuels to support their mechanized lifestyles. If the population grows it means there will be more demand for oil, gas, coal and other fuels mined out of earth surface, when these are burned they give enough CO2 into the atmosphere to trap heat cause raise in temperature.

Human population grew from 1.6 billion (1900) to 6.1 billion (2000)people during the course of the 20th century over just 100years. During that time the emission of CO2 grew 12 times and may be the worldwide population is expected to cross nine billion over the next 50 years, the population growth is getting stable or dropping in more developed countries and rapidly raising in industrializing developing nations(still developing countries). The industrializing developing countries (still developing countries) are fast growing to be in a race to economically stable which will contribute more than half of global CO2 emissions by 2050. Developing countries will cause global emissions, increase in population size which becomes important factors in magnifying the impact of global warming.
