1. The mission of a company states the purpose of the company being in a business. Mission, along with vision, helps in setting the direction of the company. The mission must be communicated clearly to the internal and external stakeholders of the company so that the mission is inculcated in them and they act accordingly. Social media helps in spreading the missing among the intended stakeholders. The mission creates a unique identity for the company to its employees, suppliers, business partners, consumers, and other parties. Social media helps in communicating the mission to these parties and strengthening the commitment of the company towards achieving its mission. It also renews the commitment of its employees and other stakeholders to fulfill the missions.
