1. As we know that the earth rotates 15 (arc) degree in an hour or minutes. So, the earth will rotate 1 degree within (60/15)= 4 minutes.

Given that the current time (Wednesday) of DVC is 3:34 pm. Its longitude is 122 degree west.

A. The difference between the longitude of DVC and Paris is (122+2)= 124 degrees.

Now 1 degree equals to 4 minutes of difference. So, 124 degrees = 124*4= 496 minutes = (496/60) hours= 8 hours and 26 minutes.

Now, as we know that the earth rotates from eastward. So, the time of the Paris always greater than DVC. So, we will add the time.

So, the time of Paris is 3:34 PM+ (8 hours and 26 minutes) = 12:00 PM exactly.

B. So, as it is 12:00 PM in Paris, compare to DVC it is the end of Wednesday in Paris.

C. The longitude of Sydney, Australia is 151 degree east. So, the difference between the longitude of DVC and Sydney is (122+151)= 273 arc degrees (remember we are adding the value because the two places are present opposite side of the Prime Meridian). So, the time difference will be (273*4)= 1092 minutes = 18 hours 12 minutes.

Now like Paris, Sydney is in the west of DVC, so its time will be greater. So, the time of Sydney is 3:34 PM + (18hours and 12 minutes) = 9:46 AM.
