Explanation / Answer

Currently I am working for an educational company, so here's the current organizational architecture according to my professional experience.

The organizational architecture comprises of organizational space and organizational design.

The organizational space comprises of humans in and around the organization. Whereas, the organization design comprises of creation of roles, processes and formal reporting relationships in an organization.

The top most position in a company is held by the CEO (Chief Executive Officer). The CEO has the responsibility to monitor and administrate the entire organization and ensure that the subordinate employees are efficiently contributing to the achievement of the company's target and also the rights of the subordinates are being protected by the senior authorities.

Next, we have the managers and their subordinates. The managers are in the middle level of the organization and the subordinates are the lowest level employees in the organization.

In terms of organizational design, the flow of information is both in the vertical as well as horizontal direction. The directions flow in the downard direction, i.e, from the top most authority to the junior authority. Whereas, the feed back flows in both the directions, i.e, from the high level authority to the junior authority and vice versa.

An alternative approach regarding flo of data and feedback must be adopted in the organization in which the junior level authorities have the equal opportunity to send their feedback to the high level authority. This would strenghthen the organizational structure and at the same time ensure better decesion making in the organization.
