Question
Q) If there are several planets that match the criteria for an Earth-like planet closely, determine which one is the closest. You will need to subtract the value in the chart above from the temperature of the Sun for star temperature, and from a value of 1 for planet distance to star and planet radius to obtain the difference. The planet with the lowest differences and the most of them (maximum 3) is the closest match to Earth. For example, if planet a has a smaller difference in only star temperature and distance from star than planets b and c, planet a is still the closer match because two of its value as opposed to one its values is closer to Earth’s. Note: You are looking for the absolute difference from Earth values so it does not matter whether the difference is a negative or positive value. For example, if one planet has a difference of -0.5 and another has a difference of 0.5 for the same variable, they are equivalent because they are both different by 0.5 (0.5 more or 0.5 less than Earth).
Planet #
Star temperature (K)
Difference in Star temperature compared to the Sun (K)
Distance from star (AU)
Difference in distance from Star compared to Earth (AU)
Planet Radius (RE)
Difference in Planet Radius compared to Earth (RE)
The table above has 5 possibilities (5 rows), but you should have less than 5 candidate planets.

Explanation / Answer
In this question, we willl take 3 Planet (Venus,Mars and Mercury )and will do calculation and will find from calculation that which planet match the criteria for an Earth like planet.
Temperature of Sun = 5778K
Difference of Earth from Sun = 1AU
As per our calculation we find Planet Venus match the criteria for an Earth like Planet closely.
