According to Friedman's ideas, Keynesian Economic views still hold true as it is still applied into the different parts of the world, but it requires modifications to suit the economic scenario. Monetary policy still holds true to control the interest rates, but it should not be used as a single panacea of the ailing economy. The success of the exchange rate system depends upon the system of implementation, coordination with the central banks and its interpretation, rather only setting the exchange rate of one currency against the other currencies.
