(1) Obesity is the most chronic disease that prevails in United states. As reported by Forbes, Obesity cost more in helath care spending rather than smoking. Obesity futher leads to job absenteeism , lower productivity etc that adds to the cost of Americans. As United states is primarily a privately funded, multi payer system with government paying 48% of all health related expenses it currently costs $147 to $210 billion every year. Americans being obese will lead to more visits to the dieticians , doctors , operations leading to more and more health cost.

(2) In low and middle income countries, Private healthcare system are more efficient, accountable and reliable whereas it costs more to be admitted in private healthcare as compared to public. Public healthcare system on the other hand is not as efficient as priavte, the facilities in private is more through it is more expensive.
