Explanation / Answer

1.Made in China.

2. China is one of the 10 worst countries for workers rights and it is also included in Global rights index published by International Trade Union Confederation. China does not allow any freedom of speech. Strikes and pickets are illegel in China. Working conditions are also not proper and as workers cannot take any action iy only makes it worst for them.

3. The countries mentioned as worst for workers rights and working conditions arre generally third world countries and have lower standard of living. It is also surprising to know that countries from western Europe which are modern in their thinking have also been recorded to show worsening conditions for workers. Hence, it shows that worldwide employees are treated badly and this is not at all good. These practices violate basic human rights of freedom of speech and living with descent standard of living.

Worker rights are important for all the countries. Example China- If China is not paying well or providing better conditions to workers then it can make goods or provide services at lower cost and hence can also force other countries to follow these practices which is more dangerous for humanity. It is essential for any country to follow basic standards of labour welfare and pay fair wages so that standard of living goes up and world becomes better place or else regional disparities will increase also the income distribution and economic gaps between countries.

To make sure that basic labour welfare measures are undertaken, I will not buy from the shop which is using child labour. I will also inform police about the same and take help of any NGO or agency which makes sure that Child goes to school. It is essential that people from developed countries and educated people in developing countries to put pressure on businesses with the help of government to force employers to make labour friendly policies because we all are labourers in one form or the other.
