The earthquake followed by tsunami accoured on march 11,2011 on the northeast japan and approximate 60 km from Oshika peninsular .The effects of the great earthquake were felt around the world, from Norway's fjords to Antarctica's ice sheet and in japan the Earth quake served as a disaster primer of sorts. Infrastructure, already weakened by the earthquake, was easily finished off by the Tsunami .Overshadowing the havoc caused by debris and the displacement of materials and earth was the physical damage to the Nuclear power plant Fukushima. The resultant radiation contamination made its way across the Pacific to even as far as South America! The ocean’s surface served as an especially effective mode of transportation for radioactive debris and other materials so the environmental problem had a long time effect to that place . The economic GDP dropped down and the most affected sector other than structures are fisheries,agriculture and other sectors were hit harder . The disaster also caused measurable economic impacts well beyond the damage regions, including losses in gross domestic product (GDP), in manufacturing from supply-chain disruptions, and in retail trade and tourism due to restrained consumption and radiation fears.These effect cause the reduce of electricity supply which led to substantial energy conservation nationwide
