With the presence of tariff, there will be increase in the prices of the products with which the demand for the products will come down and the business ceases. This can demotivate the producers to invest more in that particular country and this can have a impact on the economy which is something highly undesired and this can reduce or lead to the fall out of businesses which is highly true and the government hasn't properly justified this documentation till date however the motto is to promote domestic production.
