Global Warning, the Paris Agreement and Small Actions with Big Impact.

Thesis

As humanity, we have faced many environmental problems and many other problems. One of the greatest environmental problems in our time we are facing is global warming. Many researchers believe that excessive emissions of carbon dioxide, as well as other greenhouse gases have a heating impact on the environment and that is very harmful to human existence and we need to work towards a solution. But, before working towards a solution we shouldn’t we understand the problem. What is global warming? After we get an idea on this debatable topic we can move towards the Paris agreement and how can it help to control climate change? Why did U.S pull out of it? Was it a good business decision, but a catastrophe for the environment? Society should not wait to act in this matter, because as far as today is no other earth where we can go. “Change only happens when individuals take action,” Aliya Haq, deputy director of NRDC’s Clean Power Plan initiative, says. “There’s no other way, if it doesn’t start with people.”

Today, global warming is one of the biggest emerging problem of mankind. A lot of reserches have been done to minimize the effect of green house gases on the environment which are responsible for global temperature rise. Global temperature rise due to these greenhouse gases is responsible for many type of problems faced by mankind. All countries are trying their best to limit the production of these gases or to nullify the effect of these gases. Even a lot of agreements are signed & seminars are being conducted by various contries to bring different countries on a single platform to think about the seriousness of this issue & bring out some possible solution for the same. Some countries are taking this problem casually without analysing the consequences of the problem as an example an agreement was signed to sets out a global action plan to put the world on track to avoid dangerous climate change by limiting global warming to well below 2°C at the Paris climate conference in December 2015, 195 countries adopted the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate deal, but US pulls out it's contribution after some time.
