Clearly, I would assume you can identify that temperatures are warmer in Key West and this should impact air pressure readings. Will temperatures, which are warmer in southern Florida, increase
or decrease air pressure values? Use the list below to address and structure a true scientific approach to addressing this question.

3. Design and perform an experiment to test the hypothesis (Locate both the 850 mb and 500 mb values for both location. Please record the altitude for each location and graph the values using some sort Microsoft Excel graph option (line graph, histogram, or bar chart). The goal is to use proper labeling to clearly see which location (Illinois or Florida) have higher altitude readings. Higher altitude readings means air is expanding and producing low air pressure through producing lower density air. Higher air pressure readings for the same altitude, in theory, directly relate in lower air pressure readings due to air expanding at the surface of the earth. Use this file which already the data input into an Excel spreadsheet. Highlight the cells with data and select the input menu to generate some sort of graph to capture the difference in the 850 and 500MB heights over Illinois and Key West.

A barometer is a scientific instrument used in meterology to measure atmospheric pressure.Pressure tendency can forecast short term changes in the weather.
TYPES OF BAROMETER:-
1.MERCURY BAROMETER :-this weather instrument was invented by Torricelli in 1643.A mercury barometer consist of a glass column marked off in inches.The top end of this glass tube is closed,and the other end rests in a small cup of mercury,called a cistern.A column of mercury resides inside the upright glass tube.Mercury barometers are often used today in physics classes.
2.ANEROID BAROMETER :-is made without fluid.It consists of a small,flexible metal box called an aneroid capsule,which is made from an alloy of beryllium and copper.The metal box is tightly sealed so that changes in atmospheric pressure outside the box cause an expansion and contraction of levers and spring inside the box.
