Question
Here is data from chemical analysis of the Vostok Antarctica ice core. [Petit, J.R., et al. "Climate and atmospheric history of the past 420,000 years from the Vostok ice core, Antarctica". Discuss the global climate and this data in the context of nonlinear dynamical systems as demonstrated by the logisti c equationExplanation / Answer
4.Climate change is a change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns when that change lasts for an extended period of time (i.e., decades to millions of years). Climate change may refer to a change in average weather conditions, or in the time variation of weather within the context of longer-term average conditions. Climate change is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have been identified as primary causes of ongoing climate change, often referred to as global warming.
Due to human inflicted changes the amount of carbon dioxide, methane and insolation also shows an increase in the total amount. This results in more warming of the atmosphere. And this data is shown in the graph above.
