Therefore, more detail is always helpful. The first part of the proposal is the problem statement - what problem or situation are you going to use GIS to address? Try to be as specific as possible, both in terms of the problem and its location. For example, saying that you're want to examine wildlife habitat on military bases isn't very specific. Saying that you're going to determine potential red cockaded woodpecker habitat on Fort Bragg is much more specific, and allows me to figure out if your project is feasible or not. The second part of the proposal is explaining to me how you intended to use GIS to address the problem or situation in your problem statement. Explain the types of data and the likely analyses you'll need to carry this out. I understand that you are still learning GIS, but be as specific as you can. Think about what you'll need to do to convince me you've addressed the problem. What analyses will need to do, and what maps and tables are you likely to produce? When you feel that you have finished with the proposal please submit it within the Final Project Proposal assignment. problem to use GIS:

not only by me,i think many has faced some problems to use GIS.

spatial data consist of four types of graphic primitive: point,polygon,line,pixel. where the data have precisely defined locatios that realistically represent the featured to be modelled. other data can't be adequately represented spatially in this manner.

GIS is well suited for modelling for hospitals but not well to represent the catchment area of hospitals here this are poorly defined. i faced this problem many times.

like if a feature is represented by a crude,hand drawn ,thick line on a map we may question it's aqquracy
