Please provide assistance, give good reasoning and points provided!

I recently won the Mega Millions Lottery. My share was $222 million dollars. Another winner called me this week with an offer: We flip a coin, and if it's heads I get his $222 million, plus he will throw in a new Mercedes. If it's tails. I have to give him my $222 million. I turned down this gamble. Give a reason why this might be rational. Give a reason why this might not be rational. On the other hand, he proposed this gamble, so he must have been willing to do it. Give a reason why his his behavior might also be rational.

Explanation / Answer

a. The decision of turning down the gamble might be rational because at the end of the day you are taking 222 million from nothing. You can have many things with this money .You have invested nothing to get this money but its the grediness of human that they try more and more , tries to be satisfied in what you get in first hand .

This might not be rational as well because there is 50 % -50 % chance to have another 222 million and a car . If you have your luck then you can get everything but its soley depend on your luck but i think it would have been better to go with this gamble because even if you loose then you dont loose your money. You loose your share money from lottery so nothing going from your pocket .

On the other if you have proposed this gamble then surely you are trying to lure somebody to give it their own share of moneyu to you.
