This is about chapter 5, questions 49 and 50 from the book "Engineering Economic Analysis" by Donald G. Newman. According to the solutions on chegg, on problem 49 part A, the overhaul value is found by (10,000-40,000)=-30,000(P/F,9,6)...Shouldn't it just be -10,000(P/F,10,6) ?... The reason I ask is because question 50 is very similar and the overhaul value is found simply as 19,000(P/F,12,9).. Is the answer chegg gives to question 49 wrong? P.S. I can not find the right course number. I think it is ET 3870 or ET 3430
