Explanation / Answer

Ans.

13. Glacial lakes typically form at the foot of a glacier. They form by eroding the land and then melting inside the hole they formed. As glaciers move and flow, they erode the soil and sediment around them, leaving depressions and grooves on the land. Meltwater from the glacier fills up the hole, making a lake.

14.Cirque glacier originate high in the mountains and flow downslope. They are called "cirque glaciers" if they originate in small bowls with steep headwalls (cirque).cirque glaciers may flow into ice falls or valley glaciers, or they may terminate in the mountains.A cirque glacier is formed in a cirque, a bowl-shaped depression on the side of or near mountains. Snow and ice accumulation in corries often occurs as the result of avalanching from higher surrounding slopes.

15.Kames- are hillocks of stratified drift which are formed edge of retreating ace by glacial streams. These streams fall from height and deposit sand and gravel along the margin of the glacier as alluvial cones.

And Kettle - these are basin like depression found in areas of both till and outwash plains. They commonly contain water, these depression are created when the masses of burried ice melt.
