Native Americans are of U.S.A. are the peoples who are the native of United States of America. Most of the peoples refer the Native Americans to the red Indians or American Indians. American society is a combination of Assimilation and Pluralism. Assimilation is a process of merging different group of peoples into one group. The Pluralism exists when all the group of peoples have their individual identity and each group try to proof that their culture is superior to other group. Both Assimilation and Pluralism are the important part of American society. Majorly American society is divided into two groups, black and white. In earlier time before the Second World War in American society blacks are prohibited to get higher post in American jobs, also in defence job. The Progressive Party in an American political party which was establish in 1912. Roosevelt was the first president of U.S.A. from progressive party. Roosevelt tried his best to remove the differences between black and white Americans. In 1952 the progressive party disappeared. The period of progressive party government in U.S.A. is known for social reform. Progressive party tries its best to remove the racial and ethnic tension from the society. In American society people belonging to any religion or community are free to express their views. So overall we can say that American society is a very open minded society.
