Benefits are as below:
Goodwill: It increases company’s goodwill, since all interested parties like customers, suppliers, lenders, and shareholders get faith on the company’s activity. Company earns reputation through such certification.
Capacity: It improves capacity of production, since whole system is required to be upgraded.
Elimination: Loss of materials or inputs could be eliminated, since the modern techniques should be implemented in production.
Revenue: It improves revenue earnings of the company, since customers must have enough reasons to purchase company’s products.
Possible hurdles are as below:
Barriers from trade unions: It happens due to the effect of changing environment. Few employees could be out of job because of their incapability. New system demands upgraded knowledge and technicality which may not produce the existing employees. Therefore, barriers may come from trade unions for protecting employees’ service.
Capital investment: This is also a hurdle because of difficulty in arranging huge amount of money for the whole procedure.
