Explanation / Answer
Answer)
It is true that well developed countries could be able to maintain thier competetive edge against emerging markets because developed counties have advantages and those are like as they are developed so thier resources differ from the resources of developing countries and they easily use thier technology for he produciton of goods to exportit in the market. they posses the advance level of technology which is very useful in production of goods.
where as on the other hand if we talk about emerging counties they are just developing countries they donot have such advantages of advanced technology . and maintaining the competetion dpends upon the productivity after all,a nation’s competitiveness depends on the capacity of its industry to innovate and upgrade. the more frequent the industry will bring the innovation the more quickly will the country grow and become competitive. obviously innovation matters when the new product will be intrioduced in market it will attract buyers.
second point is, What should change, if anything, in the economic policies in order to make the developed countries more competitive?
according to me the answer is firstly a developed country for increase its competetiveness should focus on its money market developement it should be organised well. There should be technological readiness, and innovation.
In 2050, according to Goldman Sachs, the United States will be the only Western power to make it into the top five.
