Explanation / Answer

The effect of the elimination of the brands by eliminating trademarks is bad. Branding is essential for the economy and provides a fundamental service to the consumer, which differentiate one comepitating product from another. Which has several benefits:- it ensures that consumers can find the quality products they seek, it helps protect consumers choose the products they trust,  it makes producers accountable for their own goods and it helps distinguish legal from black market goods. By eliminating trademarks brands will be eliminated which will cause increase in black market activities.
