Briefly explain what you know about Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). List some of the reasons why healthcare organizations embark upon CQI efforts. Briefly describe a recent CQI effort (project) in your organization (or one you know of). Watch the YouTube video, Continuous Quality Improvement - Town of Gilbert. Based on your knowledge of the CQI project you described in #3 above, comment on what "Mayor John Lewis" needs to know. That is, state why this effort (project) is or is not beneficial. State the five factors associated with successful CQI Applications. Then, list Kotter's Eight-Stage Process of Creating Major Change.

1) Continuous quality Improvement

It is a unique approach to quality management that is dependent upon the QA that is quality assurance methods. It is mainly focused on the process rather than the individual. This sees from both internal and external clients and promotes the need for objective data to analyze and improve process.

Continuous quality Improvement has the principle saying that most of the things can be improved. It improves health care. It identifies the problems, implementing and monitor corrective action and study its effectiveness.
