Question
I need a feedback for this comment (1. I'm not sure if I would say that my peers and I are more stressed now than back in high school, but I would say that the stress is of a different kind. In college, I think the stress is more only around times of big exams or important deadlines. In high school, stress was caused by too much of a work load with classes. I feel like college classes don't give as many homework assignments or busy work, especially once you get to higher level classes. I also think I've become a lot better at coping with stress since back then, so maybe thats why I feel this way. 2. I've always had problems sleeping, although I don't attribute them to stress. I've always been a night person. 3. To relieve my stress I do a variety of activities. Recently, I've gotten involved in yoga. I also enjoy hiking and enjoying nature. I've also found that listening to music helps. 4. I've definitely thought about this before, and from personal experience, I believe it to be very true. When I am stressed or getting inadequate sleep for an extended period of time, I also find myself to feel physically unwell. For example, I may end up getting the flu. There have also been times where I have struggled with a problem that has caused me a great deal of stress where I start to feel physical pain, such as muscle tightness, for no other reason at all. Below is a link to an article about the connection between mental unwellness and physical symptoms. )
