Explanation / Answer
I'm not going to graph these out, but explain what to do. Fromwhat I can tell from the table, the price for umbrellas are $10,$20, $30, or 40. Where the number of umbrellas bought are 0,2, or 10. mm of rainfall make up the 3 by 4 sectionleft. For part A) hold rainfall steady. Put umbrellas on the x axisand price on y axis. You will need a graph for each amount ofrainfall given (1 mm, 2 mm, 4 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 12 mm). For eachrainfall graph, plot the corresponding points on the graph.Example. Graph of 7 mm has points at (0, 10); (2, 20) and (10, 30).Connec the points in a smooth curve. For part B) Holding price constant means you will have 4 graphs. Umbrellason the x axis and mm of rain on the y. The graph for $10/umbrellawould have points at (0,7); (2,8) and (10, 12). For part C) Keeping Umbrellas bought constant, we will have 3 graphs.Price on the x axis, mm of rainfall on the y axis. The graph for 0umbrellas bought would have points at (10,7); (20,4) (30,2) and(40,1). I hope this helps you. If I didn't interpret the graph rightand you can't figure out the way to graph it, please pm. Goodluck!
