Social institutions, tradition, and society can have a profound effect on a healthy person. Hereby I like to discuss how health becomes a social issue. Health is not associated with a social issue, but most of the sociologists argue that health is a major social issue.

Healthcare - social issues is an interdisciplinary program in analyzing the complex and ethical implications of health care policies and delivery system. Technology, culture, economy and sociological process greatly influence on modern health care.

Good nutrition can help to prevent disease and to promote health. Consumption of fruits and vegetables reduces the majority of diseases. Balanced Nutrition is necessary for body functions. Weight issues may affect the physical, psychological and socio-emotional considerations. Decreased level of nutrients and sedentary lifestyle are the main causes of obesity.

Changing nutrition habit in order to get necessary calories, vitamins, minerals to begin.Alcohol addiction mostly affects the physical and psychological dependence of daily life. Alcohol addiction is the major issue among teenagers.
