Once again, I haven't fully researched the topic, but I'll try andhelp as no one else has. I'm not quite sure I fully understand Welch's style, but it wasdefinitely effective then, it would definitely have potential towork for another business, however maybe not one as prominent as GEis now. Well, if I understand correctly, his self confidence inspired hisworkers to be more efficient and have confidence of their own withis important in any business. You want confident employeeswhich leads to speedy and efficient work. As far as critiquing Welch's method and the other style ofleadership, I do not know GE's situation at that period of time andthus will not take the risk of seriously misleading you withanswers I know nothing of.
