lap band surgery is the most common type of surgeries used to address the problem of obesity.According to the article described it shows that this surgery is much effective and proven safe procedure.Yes , i agree that it is a safe procedure but the patients should be aware of the problems that may cause post surgery.Any kind of surgery might show sideeffects which is very common.There might be some risks like band problems,blood clots ,food trapping,indigestion,nausea etc.It depends upon the patients immunity and unexpected side effects might be observed in few patients which is common in this procedure.
