1. Lessons to be learnt: Bullying in its various forms whether cyber, verbal or physical does exist and its effects are adverse to teens, especially those from dysfunctional families or those with low self esteem. Bullying is not a phase of life with passage into adulthood is considered as normal, instead its impact can be seen throughout the victims life and such incidents should be considered as harrasment and severe legal actions are to be taken. The schools and social networking websites have a responsibilty to society to find loopholes in their system and root out disease of bullying. Policy law makers need to make a law that prohibits bullying in all its forms.

2. Educational points to prevent bullying and its importance: Preventioj of bullying at school is key to improve the situation at schools. The school must have a clear policy and define bullying of all types. All school staff need training on what constitutes bullying and ways to tackle this problem. Identifying potential victims can also help in preventing adverse reactions like suicide. Propagators of bullying need to be identified and their behaviour needs to be addressed. Awareness of students on legal and emotional consequences of bullyng need to be done. An open communication approach should be encouraged.

3. Educational points to prevent suicide and its importance: education of all school staff on identifyng potential suicide victims with emphasizing on what signs to look out for - depression, anxiety, loss of focus, not engaging in social activities, no communication etc need to be identified and then taken up with school councellors. Communication with student and parents with follow up meeting to review situation should be done. The school should be an advocate for the child.
