You note the consent form has not been signed. As you talk with Mr. Smith you note he still does not know much about the procedure and states, “I know what I need to and that’s to leave it in the good hands of the doctor.” The physician asks you to witness the consent form immediately as they are backed up on cases and want to get Mr. Smith’s procedure done.
