A research was conducted on Mayo Foundation, a non-profit organisation, Rochester, United state, which is ranked as the topmost healthcare organisation by pushing the 14 other health organisations for the year 2017 - 2018.

15 healthcare organisation was shortlisted, on the basis of a study conducted by Truven health analytics. The study was rooted on the basis of balanced, system-wide clinical and administrative performance. 337 health system and 2924 member hospitals in the US were subjected to the study. the study pointed out that the 15 top most health care system of United state were able to deliver quality care with less expense( which is achieved by less waiting hour in the emergency room, less duration of patient stay, less complication and high survival rate). For additional resources, the data were collected from public data, MedPAR, CMS hospital compare data set, and Medicare cost report.

The Mayo Clinic is a non-profitable, charitable organisation, contributing healthcare to millions of people improving the quality of living. The mission of the clinic is "To inspire hope and contribute to health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education and research".(1) They are ranking first in terms of less infection rate and low mortality rate.
