Question
- Why current and voltage diverse and we have same source voltage with the same value but we have two cases DC and AC?
-Why in the case DC we have negative voltage?
please help me with this questions using this circuit drawing please any questions to make it more clearier
please answer these questions by using this drawing - Why current and voltage diverse and we have same source voltage with the same value but we have two cases DC and AC? -Why in the case DC we have negative voltage? please help me with this questions using this circuit drawing please any questions to make it more clearierExplanation / Answer
DC supplies a constant voltage , say 100V here but the AC voltage is varying in value from 0 to its peak value. The current and voltage at the moment depends on its instantaneous values
The graph of AC varies from positive to negative very fast, here at the frequency of 1kHz hence we cannot note that the polarities are continuously changing. But in DC, the negative terminal is always at the negative potential. Also, in AC we use the joule's law(the heat dissipated in the resistor) to find out the value of current and voltage.
Ask if you are still in doubt.
