On arrival in the emergency department at the hospital, the patient was in considerable distress. His blood work showed increased levels of troponin and creatine kinase and electrocardiogram (EKG) showed ST-segment elevation, further test were done that showed a blockage in his right coronary artery. The patient was treated with nitroglycerin, morphine, beta blocker( adrenergic) and aspirin 21. What is the patient diagnosis? (2 points) 22. 22. ANS: Signs and symptoms diagnosid in patient:

In the patient had creatine phosphokinase (CPK) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels are elevated.

Patiend had hypertension, high cholestrol level, diabetes mellitus and obesity.

Based on the history, EKG findings, physical examination, laboratory and blood test results the patients was diagnosed with an acute myocardial infarction.

Lifestyle factors can highly influence to cause myocardial infarction. Eating un healthy diet, lack of exercise, depression, gaining weight (overweight), and eating much salt.It can increase the blood pressure and elevated the LDL levels and decrese the HDL levels.
