F = q*E

m*a = q*E

a = q*E/m

= -1.6*10^-19*60/9.1*10^-31

= -1.054*10^13 m/s^2

we know, v = u + a*t

= 40 - 1.054*10^13*1.7*10^-9

= -17878 m/s   <<<<<<<<<<---------Answer

so finally electron will be moving opposite to electric filed.
