1. A block of mass 4.7kg is sliding down an incline of angle 48? with an initial speed of vi=0.77m/s. Assume that friction on the incline is negligible and that the block slides a distance d=1.6m along the surface of the incline. (a)How fast is the block moving when it reaches the bottom of the incline? (b)How long did it take for the block to slide the distanced?

2. The greater metropolitan Murfreesboro area has never been more excited. Its new ice-hockey team, the Murfreesboro Mudslugs, is not only surviving when others said it would fail, but it is actually having a winning season!
