Explanation / Answer

My favourite colours are Red, blue and Green

For me,

Red evokes energy and love, Blue brings serenity and peace and Green brings freshness.

These emotions are not universal as they are different in different countries and cultures, sometimes the opposite.

Red - For most people around the world red evokes very strong emotions that are intense. It represents passion, love and danger. This interpretation is true with the most of the Western countries. It’s synonymous with revolution and communism in few countries around the world. Red also represents luck, joy, prosperity and celebration. So, in countries like India red is in abundance during the festivals and weddings.

Blue – Blue stands for trust and security. Although it is considered as a peaceful and soothing colour, it also goes with depression and loneliness. This is true with the western cultures but in some of the Muslim countries blue is considered as a colour that drives evils out. In Asian countries in the east, it symbolizes immortality and in Hinduism Lord Krishna is represented with blue colour meaning love and divine joy.

Green – Green colour stands for nature, freshness and wealth around the world. In countries like Indonesia, green is not allowed but countries like Mexico, it’s national colour. In other Muslimcountries, green stands for fertility too. In Eastern countries green is considered as a colour that symbolizes new life.
