1)Jane is a psychologist who works in the military organization and she has to conduct a survey on the parameters to be used for the analysis of depression in military men who have suffered leg amputation in the war. The men have lot their limbs during war in some countries leading to depression in the families and worsening of their home scenarios and situations. The statistical methodology needs to be planned regarding the study of the factors like type of injury,the personal experiances of the injured men, field survey, injury survey, the report and the film documentary should be made and shown to the audience. The parameters used for study include the type of bullets causing injury, the geographical location and region, the climate , the health of the soldiers , the diseases prevalent in the soldiers, and the region of the injury on the body. A snow ball sampling technique is developed to analyze the bargraphs and histograms used for the study. The mean,mode and the variance should be calculated. The name ,date of injury should be covered in the sampling groups. The type of depression should be studied like paranoia, stress,bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder,social isolation, post traumatic syndrome,illegal use of drugs and types of other illness due to harsh climates present in the army patients.

2) The best research design includes the use of softwares like ANOVA, chi-square analysis,correlation and regression. The brief symptom inventory of the patient should be analyzed. The major depressive episodes and DSM manusl shoulb be recommended for the project study.

3) The issues include the analysis of the compensation policies for the family, the agency involved in serving and providing money and investments to the family members of the war personal should be recorded in the project book. The mental conditions of the soldier returning home should be compared with that of the soldier going to adverse places and lands for war against terrorists. The condition of the wife should be studied in the statistical survey.

4) The longitudinal study includes the study of various factors leading to the injury over time. The parameters and the population involved in the study are large. It analyzes the interrelationship between different factors leading to the prevalence of the disease in the society and the subsequent analysis of the number of deaths due to illness and injury.

The childen of the army person should be analyzed by asking survey questions about the health and education of these children after the death or injuy to their father in the army.Electronic physiotherapy machines and treadmilling should be prescribed for injured members along with the availability of walker sticks, parallel bars, supporting rods, conveyor belts, hangers, and wheelchair to the injured army men.
