The challenges faced during for location of a site for ostomy are , it is difficult in ostomy siting for obese patients because passing stoma through the thick abdominal wall is difficult and the other challenge shortened mesentery is faced when the patients with central obesity .This challenge is also faced in cases of patients with previous history of previous laparotomies, inflammatory bowel disease,dismoid tumours and external beamed radiotherapy.
